What's new? Everybody knows lawyers lie, prosecutors lie, judges lie. So he cheated. Maybe he will get what he deserved but please don't act like you are above lying.

Unrelated to Ofc Thurman. Just one man's opinion.

I'm sure this isn't going to affect a single thing but to those that feel the need to send out a mass email to all sworn at the moment you are walking out of the door to tell us all how you really feel and to let loose of all that you've contained for so many years listen up closely.... we don't care. If you have issues with someone or something do something about it while you are capable of actually making a difference. We don't care to read the top ten things you cannot stand about the department or whatever other senseless crap I've been deleting as fast as the server will allow. Grow up. No one is forcing you to stay on the department. If life is so horrible quit. Open up a spot for someone that actually wants to be here.

This news story on WDRB and officers either lying or charged in a crime. The even put pictures at the top of the story of most of the officers on the "list" being turned over to prosecutors and defense.

The 6th Division now has another officer who does not understand the chain of command. This one, left her duty weapon at a local eating establishment after using the restroom. She made runs, backed officers up and did not realize it. Only when the manager found it and called was it back in her holster. Now, just as many officers have felt, her peers found it fitting to tape a plastic pink gun in the roll call room. Does this officer go to the Sgt, yes, but felt no satisfaction so she went to Col. Gentry and cried about how she is being picked on. Sorry Col. Gentry, but the first thing you should have done was referred her back to her division command to handle her issue. You have shown her that, being who she is, she can go right to the top without going thru the chain of command. This is just another Queen Deborha (?), Elisha and who knows how many others that have been under the watchful eye of the front office. This officer has NO sense of officer safety and she should be FIRED for this. It is only with luck one of the local thugs did not find it and some one was shot or killed with an officers gun. I am sure she was written up but we all know that it will not go anywhere while she is protected. One day she will get someone hurt or killed by her actions or inactions. This is only until they put her in a position where she does not have to do anything. Maybe, she an go down to TN with Elisha while they are both off on FLMA or sick time from a specialized unit.
