Great post! I couldn't agree more. Additionally, the department should do press releases (instead of giving the media partial information) regarding the actual facts surrounding the majority of the murders in the city. For instance, maybe the news should report the bags of cocaine found on a murder scene, instead of interviewing the thug's buddies that say what a great and respectable person the victim (and I use that word loosely) was. Or maybe mention that the person was a known gang member connected
