So is it going to take for us to become current with our pay scale like the cities mentioned?

Uhhhhh.....no. Cincy is laying off 150 just like Indy. Louisville is laying off 300! Oh, wait...no they're not because the Louisville FOP was smart enough to get a "no lay off" clause in their contract.

$250 a month? Are you smoking crack? The family plan that you pay $100 a month for costs about $500 a month for other Metro employees. That's 6K a year. More than 10% of an officers salary. The grass isn't greener.
