Deal would shore up Lexington police, fire pensions

Hmmm...very articulate and convincing post. However, I was curious to know your opinion, why then, do you think the City of Louisville gave the thumbs up for the project to proceed? Surely, attorneys for the City left no stone unturned when examining the return. I have a hard time accepting the City attorneys would not, in good faith, be a good steward for the taxpayers' monies. Am I being overly-confident?
