Would anyone really care about 1 guy not riding his beat if the department weren't so understaffed that it means nobody can take vacation? The blame for that situation should go the Metro Council, the Mayor and his administration, and the taxpayers. Abramson and his hand picked successor both turned LMPD into a security guard company for special events every week of the year. Hire some guards for that and let the police be the police instead.

If you have problems with what the guy's doing, then tell him to his face. I don't know him, but some of the divisions are so bad, you can hardly blame people for wanting to escape them by any means possible.
