I understand what your point is but I’m interested to know where you’re going with it. Firstly, don’t underestimate cost of living or healthcare cost…it’s worse than you think out there. For example: yes, an officer making 50k in Louisville could expect to make 62K in Minneapolis or Salt Lake City. However, both cities are 25% more expensive to live in overall and it’s 73% more expensive for housing in Minneapolis and 126% more expensive for housing in SLC. You don’t even want to know
