Don’t make generalizations with no proof or without even knowing what you are talking about. How do you know the FOP leadership could care less? Did you ask them? Did you observe one, some, or all of them admit, proclaim, or tell others that they could care less? Do you even know that the FOP has been addressing this issue for over two years? Are you aware that every candidate for Metro Council was asked by the FOP about this issue? Did you know that the FOP was told “if you don’t like it, change it in the contract”? Did you know that the FOP is addressing this issue in current contract negotiations? Yeah, sounds like they could care less.
